Looking for ideas for places to stay in the South of France early July.. We're taking the train to Lyon, then hiring a car to Gorges du Tarn to camp there for a couple of days, then ...? We'll spend some good time in the alps on the way back but would like to visit somewhere nice and not too by the seas as well.. Maybe the Calanques but seems it gets super busy and often closes in hot weather.

I let my son take our giant metal saguaro sculpture home w/ him (we have way too much wind to place it w/o sinking a bunch of rebar), & they’re lighting it w/ LED strips & putting it indoors in their front window. It’s not finished, but it’s already so awesome!
Also, what a gorgeous photo 🤩
Added bonus: The don’t know this yet, but when a dog barks near this cactus, it sings!

And - just to keep up with today's "adventures" 😄 - after a very wet lunchwalk and a veeeeery long and energy consuming meeting - I decided that I want to have just an evening walk.
No big sports, no running or cycling. Just getting out, having some fresh air and seeing a bit of a #sunset.
And I was rewarded with lush green, beautiful sky, gorgeous

I would like to find a necklace that chimes, be that bells or harmony balls. Do any small business folk on Fedi make or sell anything of the sort? I know they exist elsewhere--Etsy and the like--but I wanted to ask here, first. Any sort of chiming jewelry that will be long-lasting will do, no matter the form. I just miss being able to carry the sound of bells with me wherever I went. I used to have a gorgeous silver harmony ball but it got lost in an airport.

The only thing that pissed my off like hell was, i ripped off my derailleur on the 6th downhill run on a stone and i had to do the last 4 runs without a chain and derailleur.
Lucky me it was all downhill 😎
I already fixed it at home and i'm glad i always keep spare parts handy 😉
